In a recent project for one the leading US financial institutions, Caserta needed to architect and deploy a relevance engine based on Mahout and leveraging a Hadoop cluster that would recommend investment products to customers based on peer activity. The core of the project consisted of a recommendation engine for research reports that would improve customer experience and retention. Using Talend’s highly scalable integration platform that could connect to any enterprise system and support natively Hadoop and other big data technologies, Caserta was able to quickly build and develop the required integration processes.

For a project at Uncommon Schools, a nonprofit organization that starts and manages outstanding urban charter public schools, Caserta architected and deployed a data warehouse and business intelligence solution using Talend’s data integration and data quality solutions to improve the management of data across schools in disparate regions. Caserta also used Talend as part of a data warehouse project for MedRecovery Management (MRM), a rapidly growing technology company that provides coordination of workers’ compensation benefits to health insurers.
