Project Manager – Data Focused

As a Project Manager you will lead business-critical data consulting projects in some of the most complex and advanced data ecosystems in the industry, providing the critical connection between our technical project teams and our clients, and project stakeholders. You will be at the forefront of transforming and implementing cutting edge data and analytics solutions, driving results through highly effective project teams of architects, engineers, and analysts. With your excellent leadership and communication skills, you will manage initiatives end-to-end, engaging and influencing clients and colleagues, cross-functionally enhancing and modernizing the client’s data landscape using a variety of solutions, tools, and techniques:

  • Modern data architectures (Cloud, hybrid cloud, and on-premise)
  • Data warehouses
  • Data pipeline frameworks and architecture
  • Data integration and ingestion
  • Data governance
  • Advanced analytics

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and managing business relationships with our client’s leaders with a keen focus on aligning project deliverables and business outcomes
  • Working in close alignment with business and technology stakeholders to provide thought leadership while ensuring the work of the team aligns with the overall business strategy
  • Creating and managing project teams and plans in dynamic ever-changing environments
  • Providing day-to-day management of work, measuring and tracking performance of data projects, and providing program support and progress reports throughout the project

Do you have:

  • 8+ years of Project Management, Project Delivery or Implementation Management experience across a diverse set of industries varying in size and budget
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working on data-focused projects in enterprise environments
  • 5+ years of experience in managing and leading consulting services projects
  • Knowledge of and experience delivering solutions on enterprise data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
  • A good understanding of data concepts including data design and modeling in traditional data warehouses, big data systems and Cloud platforms
  • Past experience partnering with business and technology teams to drive projects, while managing timeline, budget, scope, resources, deliverables and client expectations
  • Strong problem solving skills: experience developing risk mitigation strategies, proactively surfacing insights and providing creative solutions while actively engaging with colleagues and business stakeholders to ensure a successful delivery
  • The desire to occasionally travel
  • Masters Degree and/or PMP or ACP Certification preferred but not required
