With 40 facilities and 14,000 people under care, CenterLight Healthcare is an innovative managed care organization that excels in providing long-term healthcare services throughout New York City, Long Island, and Rockland and Westchester counties.
Due to changes in Medicare and Medicaid laws, CenterLight’s business was growing rapidly. The organization needed an elastic system that could address the complexities of healthcare data and disparate technologies, and support strategic intentions and economic goals.
CenterLight decided a new Enterprise Data Warehouse was required to meet the many data management challenges they were facing and sought Caserta’s consulting services to assess their existing environment, develop a data governance strategy, and design a state of the art Enterprise Data Warehouse solution.
Interviewing both business and IT stakeholders across the organization, Caserta identified and documented business requirements across major functions across the organization and prioritized and aligned those requirements CenterLight’s business goals and objectives. Caserta specified a Data Governance strategy and prepared a blueprint for the foundation and construction of an Enterprise Data Warehouse and data analytics platform.
Caserta’s assessment delivered recommendations that would allow for timely, complete, and accurate data capturing as well as historical analysis of key metrics, ultimately improving the quality of member care across the organization. The strategic recommendations consider the business impact and technical feasibility around data trustworthiness, analytical tools, data integration, data consistency & data capture.
The contents of the Data and Analytics Assessment will be leveraged throughout CenterLight’s data warehouse implementation to produce tangible business deliverables effectively and efficiently while setting up the organization for continued success in exploiting their information.
